Faculty of Dentistry Hosts Successful Workshop for Cambodian Dental Technicians
The Faculty of Dentistry successfully hosted a workshop on the IPS e.max, IPS Style system for making highly aesthetic crowns and bridges on August 11th at Hall-B. The workshop was sponsored by Ivoclar Vivadent and organized by Dental Crown Company. Over 70 dental technicians attended the workshop, the first of its kind to be held in Cambodia. One Step Ahead – Professional Development in the English Faculty
In today’s ever-changing educational landscape, it is more important than ever for the English faculty to continue their professional development. With new technologies, teaching methods, and research emerging all the time, it is essential that English teachers stay up-to-date on the latest trends to provide their students with the best possible education.
There are many benefits to professional development.
Firstly, it can help teachers to improve their teaching skills. By learning new techniques and strategies, teachers can become more effective in the classroom and help their students to learn more effectively.
Secondly, professional development can help teachers to stay motivated and engaged in their work. When teachers feel challenged and supported, they are more likely to be happy in their jobs and to continue teaching for the long term.
Thirdly, professional development can help teachers to network with other educators and learn from each other’s experiences. This can be a valuable resource for teachers, as they can share ideas and strategies, and get support from their colleagues.
In the English faculty, we are always encouraging our lecturers to continue their professional development. Many of our teachers are pursuing another degree or external certification from international universities ranging from setting up asynchronous learning, TESOL strategies or advanced teaching methods.
In today’s competitive educational landscape, professional development is essential for any faculty who wants to always be one step ahead.
