On 24th-26th December 2018, UPs Faculty of Medicine conducted a three days and two nights field trip for 147 medical students from all generation to provide Health Care to people in rural area in Ratanakiri Province. This trip included health checkups, dispensing medicine and general health education by our edical students and teachers. It was a great opportunity for our students to give hands-on patient care as well as improving the health of the community. UP students also provide primary schools with school and sport uniform, school materials as well as having fun with the children. We planned to help 250 patients but were delighted to help 312. Not only did the community benefit, but our students improved their medical skills, leadership, managment, teamwork and at the same time strengthening relationship between senior and junior students. A great trip!!!
