On December 17th, 2014, a Lecture Session on “Update on the Management of Diabetes” was conducted by Doctor Krithikaa Nadarajan, an Advance Internal Medicine Senior Resident in Singapore Hospital, at University of Puthisastra. In the session, there were around 170 UP Medical students and three of Singaporean students, Project Lokun Team Leader. Doctor Krithikaa clearly presented about the definition and types of Diabetes; besides, she provided two different case studies of diabetes patients and gave advice on what they should do with their problems. After that, Dr. Krithikaa showed some kinds of medicine for Diabetes patients, and she gave some suggestions for them. Noticeably, our students were really interested in the topic; thus, they asked many questions at the end of the lecture. On behalf of University Puthisastra, we would like to express our sincere thanks to Doctor Krithikaa and the Lokuners for the meaningful presentation, and we hope that there will be such valuable lecture session in the near future.
