On May 20, 2023, UP in collaboration with the Cambodia Association of Medical Technologists (CAMT), organized a training on “Quality Management System in Hematology” for colleagues who are working in medical laboratories across the country. Open remarks were given by Mr. Ly Chanvatanak, Head of the Faculty of Health Sciences and Biotechnology, UP, and Professor Ket Vansith, President of the CAMT.
This training course was organized for the following purposes:
1. Understand the process of the CBC analyzer and the information shown by the CBC machine
2. Explain the advantages of IQC and EQA
3. Understanding the EQA result
4. Performance of corrective actions
The participation of distinguished speakers, including Dr. Hou Chantha, Dr. Tor Pety, Ph. Hem Keodane, and Dr. Kim Huot. This event was also sponsored by Kuang Hsien Medical Instrument Co., Ltd.
After the training ended, all participants learned and gained a lot of knowledge and experience from our honor speakers and other participants related to Quality Management Systems in Hematology.
