Recently, in collaboration with the MOH and Cambodian Dental Council, UP hosted an important continuing professional development (CPD) seminar entitled “GUIDELINES FOR CROSS-INFECTION CONTROL IN CAMBODIAN DENTAL CLINICS DURING AND AFTER THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC “. The workshop was held online using ZOOM from the UP Kospo Room on Sunday 20 December. Over 500 dentists registered to join the meeting, which was sponsored by UP and the GOFEN company.

Professor Ian Findlay, UP’s President welcomed the participants, and this was followed by introductory comments from HE Dr Oeun Boraroth, Secretary of State from MOH, and HE Dr Sokhom Rithivuth, President of the Dental Council. The two keynote speakers were Professor Hong Someth, Vice President of the Cambodian Dental Council, and Ms Glenda Stainton, a very experienced dental therapist from NZ who has been living and working in Cambodia for the past 4 years.
