UP has its library which is full of textbooks. You all are welcome to visit and spend your time to read or copy whatever you like (not only for UP students and lecturers, but to all the PUBLIC). Lately, we've got a lot of new textbooks from New Zealand, Australia and India. UP library, maybe, have the most Dental textbooks in Cambodia.
A big Congratulation to Pharmacy and medical student of University of Puthisastra won first place and second place medal in Kinal prize competition.

There were four groups of pharmacy and medical students from university of Puthisastra joined in this competition with many other 13 groups from different universities
This is the activity that University of Puthisastra (UP) and Cambodia Charitable Truat (CCT) have collaborated on signing MOU . The Cambodia Charitable Trust is a New Zealand r NGO that assists Cambodian people to provide health and education for the children. The CCT works in 18 schools in Takeo and Kampot. It employs two Register Nurses ( RNs) who deliver health care screening for the children and from 2017, UP's nursing students will joining with the CCT nurses in their work.
On 07th November 2016, Laboratory club of University of Puthisastra invited Mr. Dara Ly who is a leader of scholar library to deliver a presentation on topic ‘how to read successful’.

The purpose of this presentation is sharing techniques and experiences of reading book to all laboratory students. This presentation start from 9.30 am to 11.30 am.
Noticeably, there were a lot of laboratory students, 4th generation batch 5, joint this presentation session.
University of Puthisastra (UP) has partnered with Project Helping Hands (PHH), USA in conducting the UP-PHH Community Health Support project in Takeo and Siem Reap Provicnes, and Seminars related to medical fields to UP students for 2 weeks, starting on 25 October 2016 to 04 November 2016.

22 PHH Medical Members, including 96 UP students and doctors participated in the project. The project has been to provide the health check-up, treatment and education to poor people in Prey Kabbas and Koh Andeth Districts, Takeo province, and Sout Nikom and Svay Ler Districts, Siem Reap Province.

Total people who received health check-up and treatment from PHH Medical team were 1457 people, in Takeo 774 people and Siem Reap 905people. In addition, PHH Medical team provided the health education to local people on how to prevent and treat health issues by themselves such as backache, hand and body sanitary, cough and teeth cleaning.

For seminars in UP, PHH Medical team has shared experiences and knowledge in both theory and practice in the laboratory to the UP students for 4 days. And there were around 800 students to attend the training.

This project is the 2nd year that the UP and PHH have worked together closely and fruitfully in conducting the humanitarian project in order to help some poor people in reducing the expense in treatments, gain the health knowledge, as well as to be benefits to UP students to get more good experiences and knowledge from PHH Medical team. These good experiences and knowledge will be a part to enhance the UP students to become qualified professional with good attitude to contribute in developing society after they graduate in their studying successfully.

On 4th November 2016 UiTM University visited University of Puthisastra and the visit aims is to explore and to learn about the roles and responsibilities of the University’s students in the aspects of leadership and management together with the development of education as well as relations with the regional tertiary student.
Mr. SENG Bunvirak, Director of the President’s Office, University of Puthiusastra and Mr. SUOS Imsouchivy, Representative of Pannasastra University of Cambodia led 9 Cambodian youths to attend the Youth Model ASEAN Conference 2016 in Singapore from 02-06 October, 2016. Total participants were around 200 from all ASEAN member countries. The conference was under the theme “Bridging Hearts, Building Ties” and discussed on the issues and solutions of Political-Security, Economicsand the Socio-Cultural Environment faced within the region.

Cambodian Youth Delegates contributed and exchanged a lot of ideas and built networks with other youths from other ASEAN countries. And Leaders shared experiences in Cambodia to all Delegates from other ASEAN countries involved in Political-Security, Economics and the Socio-Cultural Environment such as Human Trafficking, Renewable Energy Sources, Skilled Labor Movement, Innovative Digital Technologies, Global Competitiveness of MSME, Affordable Healthcare Accessibilities, and Narcotics.

It is proud and honored for University of Puthisastra that Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport invited 2 UP Representatives to attend the Conference as a Cambodian Delegate Leader and a Delegate in the name of Cambodia.
